A while ago, we started the Atlanta Million Dollar Challenge, which was completely centered around the government grants of up to $8000 to first time home buyers.
You see, the goal was simple. If we helped 125 first time home buyers around Atlanta into their first home, each receiving the $8000 first time home buyer tax credit, then that would be a total of $1 Million coming back into our community. And, a lot of happy homeowners who got Atlanta FHA loans – or other loans – at record low rates and with depressed home prices.
It was a good run; and a lot of fun.
But even though the tax credit runs out at the end of April, 2010, there remain many individuals and young couples who want to buy their first home in metro Atlanta. And we’re here to help!
That’s right. Soon we are going to begin a series of webinars to explain the in’s and out’s, the good and the bad about buying a home now around Atlanta; and focusing on individual cases and questions. Who should buy; and who should wait and not jump in just yet.
